July 27 -Northern Tier- wallaceburg- Port Stanley 33 miles

Old RR tracks to silo.                               What a great day to ride from Wallaceburg to Port  Huron. The route was flat , the temperature was in the 70’s, and the roads were fairly decent. On the way in Thamesvilke we stopped at Tim Hirtins and had delicious munchkins or st Tim Hortons they call them Tim bits! Yum! We came into our last town , the small fishing village of Port Huron to the Kettle Inn where we had a delicious lunch. After we headed to the recently opened laundromat by Lake Erie. There were a lot of people on the shore of the lake who were swimming, making sand castles and enjoying the partial sunshine. After dinner a few of us went to see the play, Book Club which was written by a person who was in the audience . She actually changed the ending and besides the brief blackout in the theater because of the lightening storm outside, the play was hysterical and we walked back home to the hotel in the rain chatting about the funny scenes of the play.
