today we headed back along the Avenue of the Redwoods. It was a beautiful ride surrounded by tall majestic trees! We biked through the drive through tree. I can’t imagine anyone ever cutting one of these trees down! Some are hundreds of feet high! We followed route 101 and came to a small town where they actually hire people to trim marijuana bushes. There are lots of people there who do the work, unfortunately many are transients. There is a Lot of homelessness that we have encountered on this trip. It is very sad. Some are on drugs, others have mental issues and some just chose it as a way of life.
we finished for the day in Weott in a nice campground.
